What did you do right out of college?

Continued raising our first two children, while i finished my undergraduate education at University of Nevada where my Amherst husband was teaching. I have worked in the nursing field since 1970.

How did your working career or other life experiences jibe with your MHC experience?

I have felt that my excellent HS and MHC background provided a background for getting more out of life and being open to all kinds of experiences here and all over the world. I still love to learn new things.
Also, I question thoughts and ideas and try to get accurate information.

What is your favorite activity now? How did you get into that?

Besides getting together with friends and family regularly, my passion has been for travel. i have been blessed with the resources and health to bike, hike, sail, walk, be a nurse on missions, etc. all over the United States and much of the world.
As a last and late child, I first traveled with my parents. My first foreign country was pre Castro Cuba where comic books were 20 cents instead of 10 cents as in the US.
