Alice Godfrey (Andrus)

During my time as Class President, I reached out to Jane to help plan a mini reunion with classmates in the Twin Cities area. Jane offered to host a luncheon. In her beautiful home she serv d us a bevy of delicious salads while we caught up with each other. Jane was doing executive search for colleges and secondary schools across the country. As I was doing some of the same work for different industries, I admired her deep engagement and knowledge in her work. I had hoped to get back up to the Cities to continue to see Jane, Katie and Leslie, but alas, that didn't happen. I remember her fondly as a competent woman and for her Minnesota friendly manner.

Kathleen Vreeland (Buffon)

Pam and I shared a triple in Pearsons sophomore year with Janie.  She was a free spirit -- zany!  She decided that her body could adjust to the fall and winter temperatures if she went without a coat.  Sometime in December she concluded that she wasn't adapting quickly enough and gave in to outerwear.  She adored Danny and,  later, their children.  I think she surprised everyone except herself by becoming an academic, a head mistress, and a mover and shaker in the world of education.  I remember her fondly and am so sorry that her recent years were a struggle.  But oh what she accomplished in life!
